About Peter Farber
Six months ago the world of social media and its application to selling “products” was as foreign to me as it may be to you. I recognized that something was going on, but for me it hadn’t reaching the whole lot of shakin’ stage. I got pulled in or jumped in, however you’re inclined to think of it.
With my background in strategic planning and traditional marketing, coupled with a perspective shaped by my experience teaching at Landmark College in Putney, VT, an accredited institution of higher learning for students with learning differences, I understood why people weren’t getting it, even when it seemed so obvious to me. You can no more hide from social media and its implications for business than you can from cell phones, e-mail, or the automobile.
Not only am I committed to making this all meaningful for everyone, but I’m beginning to understand how to make it manageable even for the small business and small non-profit.
